Badminton

A game that involves hitting a small, feathered object called a shuttlecock over the net with a long-handled racquet. One scores a point when the opponent is unable to return the shuttlecock with his/her racquet. The Badminton CCA provides students with the opportunity to learn the proper skills and techniques of the sport such as overhead strikes (smashes) and footwork. Students are given opportunities to develop values such as Resilience and Teamwork through the activities during CCA.
